[!!spoilers!!]I think it could be interpreted that way. I wrote it to be more about wanting to escape from reality onto the internet, something I have personal experience with. During quarantine especially I was driven deeper and deeper into this mindset. In a way, escaping to the internet is like a form of suicide – your body may exist but your mind is somewhere else. I have other cousins and friends who fell into this, and from the outside looking in I can both relate and feel sad. I think there's a reason why people fall into escapism, but not everyone wants to share the reason.[/!!spoilers!!]
this game is fantastic <33 having it embedded online is very convenient, the style is nostalgic but simplistic to the point it feels as isolating as liz surely felt. the ending was very moving when she was talking about all she missed, i just wish it didn't have to end with her watching everybody move on without her. it's a bit morbid, no?
Love it. The puzzles weren't hard enough to force me to look up a walkthrough but they still took me a bit to get. I'd really love to see a continuation of this story, I want to see Liz find happiness.
Really cool game tbh! The game is short and still has a really interesting lore and I love the concept of searching things in messages and stuff, that was really fun, keep going on games like this <3
cool game!! i really enjoyed this, even if puzzle games aren't my thing. one thing i will say though is i found the password a bit confusing, i struggled with that a lot even though i feel like it was meant to be obvious... it was short and sweet! i wish it had been a little longer and didn't have such an abrupt ending but i understand. i was thrilled to see that you were inspired by noriko's dinner table!! it's my favourite movie ever and i could really see the inspiration from haikyo.com and kumiko. even if it was short, you really managed to capture a strong emotion here! best of luck in what you do in the future!
Hands down, best short story game I played so far. I've never been so hooked in a game so far to the point that I start taking notes. This should need more attention.
Woah. I'm speechless. This was one of the best games I've played on here in quite a while, I've got to say, the story and the puzzles, the soundtrack. Imma eat this whole damn game. I loved this sooooooo much! It was really fun to play and with games like this, I reckon you'd make a living. This is worth way more attention and I'm shocked that this was free to play! Thank you for immersing me into this lovely experience!!!!!!!!!!!! :3

If you are on the phone, there should be a gear icon on the bottom right. If you are on a laptop or computer, you press the ESC key.

Is this game an allegory on teen suicide?

Thank you for your reply. I can to the escapism thing which explains why this game made me shed a couple of tears in the end.
